Research Bursary

This bursary was created in recognition of the financial challenges faced by students to pay for research. This bursary is not meant to replace or supplement funding provided to students in their letter of offer or for conference travel. This bursary is meant to help offset the ancillary costs of the graduate students' research (e.g. expendable research equipment, printing costs, and publication fees) that would not have a reasonable expectation to be paid by the student’s supervisor may not currently have available funding for.

General Information:

  • Applicant must be currently registered at the University of Lethbridge as a part or full-time graduate student.

  • Students may receive the award once per degree level. The maximum bursary is $500.00 per degree level.

  • The GSA reserves the right to partially reimburse students to cover the reasonable market value of the expense.
