GSA Awards

The Graduate Student Association has worked to create awards and bursaries in support of registered graduate students. Please follow the instructions if you wish to apply for any of the options below. Any incomplete application will not be processed.

Verification of Enrollment Letters: Process

Proof of Enrollment Letters, required for Awards Applications, can be accessed in your University of Lethbridge Bridge Account. Here are the steps:

Go to Student Tab
Select 'Verification of Enrolment Letters'
Select 'General Use' and the appropriate term
Click the 'Generate' button

Student Service Award

Award to recognize service by graduate students to the University and Graduate student population beyond research and teaching.

Research & Publication Bursary

Established by the GSA in recognition of the financial challenges faced by students to pay for research.

Emergency Bursary

Financial assistance for graduate students currently enrolled at the U of L who have experienced an unanticipated, acute financial emergency.

Student Event Financial Assistance

The GSA has funding available to support graduate students in planning academic or social events.

Travel Award

Award to assist with registration and travel costs for any graduate students who are presenting at or attending a nationally or internationally recognized conference within Canada or elsewhere.

Graduate Teaching Award

This award was established by the GSA to recognize outstanding service by teaching assistants and instructors who are graduate students at the U of L.
