Grad Student Opportunities 2025

The Education Graduate Students' Association (EdGSA) and the Office of the Associate Dean of Graduate Research at the University of Manitoba invites proposals for the 27th annual Education Graduate Students’ Research Conference. The conference aims to promote education graduate students' research and scholarly activities, allowing them to present and discuss their work in a supportive, academic forum.
Current and recent graduate students from education-related programs are invited to submit proposals that encompass a wide spectrum of educational research and scholarship. We support a diverse range of work spanning various worldviews, ways of knowing, and research methods. This includes but is not limited to Indigenous knowledge systems, community-based research, arts-based research, participatory research, and other robust forms of scholarship that characterize our educational communities.
What is the theme?
This year’s theme is “Brave Spaces, Bold Ideas: Reimagining Education Through Graduate Research”.
27th Annual Education Graduate Students’ Research Conference
We invite submissions that embody bold, imaginative, and courageous approaches to rethinking education.
